Fear me, I'm the flower monster!
Actually I wanted to take some photos like these: [link] [link] ...but it ended up with me biting into that pretty flower I really like the way the light looks on my hair, on one side there's a golden touch and on the other it looks more like grey and cold. This is my first entry for =pullingcandy's Death in Spring Contest --> [link] I give =darkclub permission to show my work in their gallery. Comments
thanks a lot

I'll try to critique later when I have time. *busy at the moment* -- Sweet heaven, I see the light. I feel...love and life; sun and shine. But here in this Hades I cannot touch... The forbidden angels of love cannot save me. I see the demons of your hell. I kiss the angels of your despair. thanks

You look utterly monstrous as you devour your prey.
The depth of field is interesting, so is the crop. It's like it's a secret dinner for vampires, you're all dolled up, imagination suggests you're wearing an evening gown, what with the ring and the necklace. The colors match well with the flower, and as red is a hard medium to work with, I think it stands out very well and isn't too harsh or imposing.
I love the ring - it's large and eye catching, but it isn't distracting from the flower, or the blood, of which there is just the right amount. I think more would have been too much.
My suggestion for improvement on this is to run a sharpen filter over it, and blur the eyes so that they have less exposure pixels, especially in the area with make-up.
Other then that, the green of the stem, the red of the flower, and the deeper red of the necklace combined with the black of the ring and the crazed, feral expression work wonders to create a lovely image that is very fitting for a contest.
