Burn by DraculeaRiccy Burn by DraculeaRiccy
Another little thing I did at school. I know the burn is probably a bit too big for a cooking stove...but there was nothing else to take a good photo with. :D

Please tell me what you think :aww:

Here's a link to the Syfy channel's page on it: [link] its for make up artist like yourself. IDK how you apply to get on the show, but again you have what it takes I think. :)

Wow, I'm very impressed! My eye was caught by all of the cosmetic injuries I saw in your gallery but I chose this one to comment on :P It looks incredibly realistic. The black part as well as the tender-looking pink around the outside. You really should be working on movies, if you aren't already!

thank you! I had a lot of fun doing this one...especially because my model was always like "OMG so gross" :XD:
I'm not working on movies, don't have the time at the moment. But I have a friend who's at a film school and he already told me that I can do the make-up on his short movies :dummy:

we used some kind of latex, I forgot the name but you use it to make bald caps. You put some of it in a bowl filled with water and burn it. Then do it again till it looks like you wanted, put in on the skin, glue it on and paint it.
Just pay attention that nothing else gets burnt :)

that yellow-ish and glossy parts make it so realistic :O
especially the contrast between the dry, coaled edges and the deep pit of the major "injurie" make this to an outstanding piece of work!
i wish i could achieve that, well done ;)

I think it looks really gruesome, good job!
However, if the idea is that you burnt on the stove, perhaps you should mess that up too?

Thanks :D I know, it would look better with some burnt skin on the stove...but our teacher didn't really like my burn, didn't looked too happy when we took the stove and took photos, so I thought it's best to remove everything as fast as possible.
